California Education Code states that committee members present, by unanimous vote, may add an item to the agenda only if immediate action is needed and the need came to the committee's attention after the agenda was posted. 
IV) Reading and Approval of the Minutes:
The committee from the October 8, 2026, meeting will be discussed..
V) Public Comment:
Members of the public are invited to attend the DELAC meeting and provide comments on topics pertaining to the English Learner program. Under the open meeting law, no action related to public comment may be acted upon at the meeting. Issues related to this meeting may be scheduled for another DELAC meeting.
