It's fun, super easy, and a great way to show off your creativity! Here's what to do: 1) Choose your favorite storybook or character. 2) Get a small to medium-sized pumpkin. It can be real or fake. 3) Decorate your pumpkin to look like your book character by using acrylic paint, permanent markers, glue, or other items to add things to the pumpkin. 4) Pumpkins may not be carved, cut, or have holes spiked in them, as they get stinky. Also, watercolors and acrylic paint do not work well. 5) Fill out the entry form below. It needs to be returned with your pumpkin. 6) You can bring your pumpkins to the Storybook Pumpkin Patch (also known as the Library) anytime between October 1st and October 25th. All storybook pumpkins need to be picked up from the library by the end of the school day on Thursday, October 30th. Prizes will be awarded on 10/30 for the most creative pumpkins in the patch!
